GOP,Gaseous Oily Party has and remains the political obstacle, that prevents Florida, to evolve into Alternative Energies. Solution is as simple as first dispose of obstacle and move on to Greener pastures. Out from under the minority centralized dictatorial energy "Robber Barons"..

I use Square-Foot MIRRORS, (Hourly Sun-Pointing) DIY to PRE-HEAT the water going to the Hot-Water-Heater. ELECTRIC: Wife & I live in an ALL ELECTRIC house. This action reduces (or eliminates) the cost of electricity to heat water. Records show (KWHrs) reduction of the monthly electric bill. One KWH (KiloWattHour) I pay 13.2 cents per KWH: this is equal, (in energy) to five (5) each 200 WATT bulbs (1,000 WATTS), burning for ONE HOUR ! I have SOLAR HOT WATER (when sun shines), and an excellant SOLAR COOKER. Now building a HOT-TUB ! /s/ Carroll H. Sincere inquiries answered.

Attended the Florida Renewable Energy Tour, Miami Tour Stop. Great program, very informative. What is very necessary is that all Floridians get involved, especially the engineering and construction community. The State Government must LEAD on this issue for a sustainable future.

Billions of people in developing countries throughout the rest of the world will consume energy, buy automobiles, toasters, TVs, etc. at an unprecedented rate that we do not appear to be prepared for. The world''s appetite for energy will eventually result in consumption of all the non-renewable resources. Before that happens, the cost of coal, oil and natural gas will rise prohibitively, impacting not only consumers, but virtually all business and industry. Additionally, the environmental impacts of greenhouse gases will be very negative. Rather than sit back and watch it all unfold, the sane course is to pursue renewable energy sources like solar, wind, wave power, an biofuel. I feel it's most important to assist with a move in that direction.

This year's legislative session will be the year that defines Florida's renewable energy future. If FARE can't bring home a win we are moving to Ontario. They may have less sun, but they have legislators who get renewable energy and want to create jobs.

We need solar policies in Florida now! What are these legislators waiting on? One thing I do believe in about FARE is the fact that they will fight until we have a long term policy in place. Great job! Keep up the good work.

Why is it that FPL is the only one who is allowed to build solar in the State? If FPL ratepayers pay for solar, FPL ratepayers should be able to have it on their rooftops.

FARE's message is right on. We need renewable energy in Florida and we need it NOW! If we want job creation and long term growth, we need policies that will allow for every form of technology on every piece of land in the state. Widespread installations lead to true job growth.

I need to make my meter run backwards. I'm retired and could use the extra income. FLORIDA=SOLAR. Its a no-brainer. It even says it on our licence plates "THE SUNSHINE STATE".

I support a long term, sustainable policy in Florida which can be achieved through a few different mechanisms. I also believe that Floridians are owed the chance to have a free and open marketplace for the production and sale of renewable energy.
