Florida Alliance for Renewable Energy

The Florida Alliance for Renewable Energy (FARE) is excited to bring you this review of the 2011 Renewable Energy Tour! The tour traveled through 10 cities across the state, reaching an audience of over 2000 individuals and businesses. The tour featured discussion on pending legislation, interaction with elected officials and was part of building the sweeping grassroots movement that is bringing Florida in to the renewable energy future.
The tour featured discussion about renewable energy legislation during the 2011 Legislative Session. The tour will featured industry & policy experts and local elected officials. Prior to each event the tour featured visits to local solar and renewable energy installations. Each individual event was in Town Hall format with a discussion on job creation and local economic growth through renewable energy development, and a question and answers session from industry experts and State legislators.
Tour stops included Palm Beach/Broward, Ft. Myers/Naples, Sarasota, Orlando, Jacksonville, Space Coast, Gainesville, Tampa, Talahassee and Miami.
